Custom pixel art on every achievement, quest and item
Every icon in XPmetric used to be an emoji. Emoji render differently on every operating system, they carry someone else's visual language, and a trophy case full of them looks like a text message.
All 90 are now hand-drawn pixel art in one consistent style.
Loot, not emoji redraws
Each icon is an item from the founder universe rather than a pixel version of the emoji it replaced. First Blood is a blood potion. Viral Moment is a golden comet. World Dominator is a conquered desk globe. The town crier's bell stands in for Front Page instead of a newspaper.
Achievement families share a visual ladder, so you can see progression without reading a word. The pageview milestones escalate from a plain waymarker stone to a solid gold obelisk. The revenue tiers climb from a coin seed to a phoenix.
Where you will see them
Achievement badges, the trophy case, the leaderboard, chart markers, unlock toasts, quest cards, the item shop, expeditions, and the share cards that go out to X.
One fix worth calling out
The lightning bolt used to mean two different things: Sparks, which you spend, and XP, which is permanent. They are separate artwork now, and every screen agrees on which is which.
A few things stay as emoji on purpose. Country flags, the emoji you choose yourself for goals and annotations, and anything inside an email, where inline artwork does not render reliably.
