See how engaged a visitor is, and follow just their events

Two additions to the visitor card on the live map.

Engagement at a glance

The card now shows how many pages this visitor has viewed in the session, plus a five-cell meter comparing them to your site's typical visitor right now. Someone on their sixth page reads very differently from someone on their first.

The comparison is to your own median session, not to an industry number. It tells you this person is unusually engaged for your site. It does not claim to predict whether they will convert.

If your site runs in cookie mode, the card also shows total visits. Cookieless sites never show cross-day numbers, because cookieless identity is deliberately day-scoped and there is nothing honest to count.

Follow one visitor in the ticker

Open a visitor's card and the event ticker filters to just that person. A pill at the top shows whose events you are watching. Close the card, press Escape, or hit the small cross to go back to everything.

It works the other way too. Click a row in the ticker and the map opens that visitor's card instead of jumping straight to the full journey. The full journey is still one click away from the card.
