Google Analytics import

Import your GA4 history into XPmetric in one click, then cancel Google Analytics for good.

XPmetric can replace GA4 — import your historical pageviews so levels, achievements, and charts reflect real traffic from day one.

Google Analytics history import is available with an active paid Growth plan. Imports cover up to 731 days within the two-year raw analytics retention window.

Before you import

Install the tracker on your live site so new data flows to XPmetric.
Connect Google Analytics in Settings → Sites → Google Analytics.
Pick the GA4 property that matches your site domain.

Run the import

Open Settings → Sites for the site.
Click Import from Google Analytics.
Confirm — the import runs in the background (large properties may take minutes).

GA4 only gives XPmetric daily totals, so that is what is stored: daily aggregates, not individual visits. XPmetric does not invent visitors, sessions or times of day. Achievements and XP are backdated to the days thresholds were actually crossed, not the import day.

What imported history shows

A note under the stats bar names the imported date range. Filters that need visit-level data (UTM, campaign, entry page, goal) hide imported history. Hourly views only show live traffic.

After import

Site dashboard charts show the full history in the selected date range.
Achievements evaluate against imported pageviews, countries, referrers and summed daily users.
You can remove the GA4 tag from your site and cancel your Google Analytics subscription.

Notes

Import is per-site; each site connects to one GA4 property.
Re-importing a day replaces that day's numbers. It never doubles them and never grants XP twice.
Custom GA events are not imported.
